Center Valley, PA: The Ramapo College field hockey team shutout previously unbeaten DeSales University today on the road, 3-0. With the win the Roadrunners improve to 3-1 while the Bulldogs drop to 4-1.

Samantha Gardner (Frankfort, NJ) scored her first goal of the season and the eventual game winner in the 10th minute of play for the Roadrunners.

Amanda Barretta (Roseland, NJ) tallied her sixth goal of the season as she was assisted by senior captain
Christine Lafferty (Washington Twp., NJ) as time expired in the first half with an insurance goal.
In the second half, sophomore
Katie Bruno (Middletown, NJ) knocked in an unassisted goal, her sixth of the season to go ahead, 3-0.
Sophomore
Rebecca Elliott (Brick, NJ) recorded four saves in the complete game shutout, her first of the season.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, September 15th at 6:00 PM when they travel to Western Connecticut State.
