Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team swept Fairliegh Dickinson University at Florham today, 9-0. The Roadrunners improve to 6-4 overall while the Devils fall to 3-12.
The doubles team made up of
Prasanna Fernando (Wood-Ridge, NJ) and
Matt Soos (Barnegat, NJ) recorded a 8-5 win over Joe Li and Trevor Miles before
Chad Rochman (Oakland, NJ) and
Matt Cacciaguida (Hampton, NJ) defeated Kevin Ly and Josh Bacon, 8-3.
Matt Giuliari (Hamilton, NJ) and
Douglas Gromack (Hampton Bays, NY) shutout Michael Capece and Ambrose Cooke, 8-0.
Ramapo cruised in singles play while Rochman pulled out an exciting 6-3, 3-6 (10-4) at third singles over Ly.
The Roadrunners return to action on Monday, April 26th at 4:00 PM when they host Rutgers-Newark University.
