Pomona, NJ – Richard Stockton (3-16, 0-6 NJAC) fought gamely on Senior Day but fell to NJAC foe Ramapo (9-10, 1-5) 2-1 in the final regular season contest for both teams.
The Roadrunners opened the scoring in the first half on a goal by
Katie Bruno (Middletown/ Middletown) at 24:33 with an assist by
Amanda Barretta (Roseland/West Essex) that gave Ramapo a 1-0 lead at the break.
Stockton's Janice Dutko (Allentown/Allentown) tied it with an unassisted blast at the 46:03 mark of the second half before
Rebecca Penhaker (Wantage/High Point) scored the eventual game-winner for Ramapo just over five minutes later.
Samantha Gardner (Frankfort/High Point) assisted on the score. The Roadrunners collected their first NJAC victory of the season with the 2-1 win.

Rebecca Elliott (Brick/Brick) made five saves in the victory. Stockton goalie Debi O'Kane (Cologne/Absegami) extended her school record for saves by kicking out seven shots in her final game. O'Kane's final total was 696 career saves for her stellar career at Stockton. She also holds the school record for saves in a season (212 last year).
