Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College swim team defeated King's College tonight, 96-18. The Roadrunners improve to 6-2 overall.
The 400-yard medley relay team made up of
Stephen Fox (Freehold Twp., NJ),
David Nehls (Oakland, NJ),
Terry Hubert (Howell, NJ) and
Geoff Richter (Cherry Hill, NJ) finished in 3:47.37 for first place.
Johnny Olsson (Stockholm, Sweden) (1:55.00, Richter (1:57.44) and
Anthony Yodice (Wayne, NJ) (2:08.22) took first through third places in the 200-yard freestyle.
Fox won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.68 while
Matt Altman (Flanders, NJ) took second place with a time of 24.18. Altman also took home a first place finish (55.34) in the 100-yard freestyle while
Nicholas Bayconich (Wantage, NJ) placed second (56.08) and
Vincent Grillo (Bogota, NJ) took third in 56.96.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, February 2nd when they host NJAC rival William Paterson University at 6:00 PM. Ramapo will honor their seniors prior to the meet.
