Madison, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team traveled to Drew University today to take on the Rangers. The Roadrunners would come away with a 169-32 victory, their first win of the 2009-2010 season.
Ramapo took first through third place in the 50-meter freestyle when sophomore
Peter Polgar (Wayne, NJ) took home first (22:57), rookie
Geoff Richter finished in second place in 23:18 and rookie
Matt Altman (Flanders, NJ) finished in third place in 23:73. Polgar also placed first in the 100-meter free with a time of 50:55.
Rookie
Frank Patierno (Boonton Twp., NJ) placed first for Ramapo in 1:55:77 in the 200-meter free. Rookie
Andrew English (Lincoln Park, NJ) and sophomore
Mike Waterhouse (Eastampton, NJ) placed first and second respectively in the 200-meter IM with times of 2:09:25 and 2:10:93.
Rookie
Jared McGrath (Edgewater, NJ) finished second in the 100-meter free in 53:26.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host NJAC rival Montclair State University in their first home meet of the season on Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 PM.
