Mahwah, NJ: The Rampo College field hockey team defeated the Rangers of Drew University today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 3-5 overall while the Rangers fall to 5-4.
Drew scored their only goal of the game in the fist half as senior Lauren Collini (Dallas, PA) took a pass from rookie Meghan Howlett (Garwood, NJ) into the back of the net for a 1-0 Ranger lead.
Despite the score, the Roadrunners out shot Drew, 12 to four and had an advantage in penalty corners, 8-4 in the first half.
Ramapo would tie the game in the 55th minute when junior
Erin Quigley (Pompton Lakes, NJ) ripped a shot past the Ranger goalie on a pass from fellow classmate
Mackenzie Cahill (Pompton Lakes, NJ).
Sophomore
Kim Raimondi (Ridgewood, NJ) scored the game winning goal at 64:16 in the second half off a Ramapo corner; her third goal of the season she was assisted by rookie
Jayne Manigrasso (Atlantic Highlands, NJ).
Juniors Elizabeth Law (Manahawkin, NJ) and Nicole DiBattista (Newton, NJ) each made defensive saves for the Rangers, one in each half.
The Roadrunners dominated the second half, racking up nine penalty corners to the Rangers's four. Ramapo also recorded 15 total shots in the game to Drew's five.

Megan Tierney (Wayne, NJ) recorded three saves in the victory.
The Roadrunners start NJAC play when they host rival Kean University on October, 4th at 1:00 PM at the Athletic Center Turf Field.
