Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team now stand at 10-6 overall after defeating Baruch College, (3-1) and the United States Merchant Marine Academy, (3-0) today at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners fell to Fairleigh Dickinson University, (2-3).

Kayla Anders (Harrington Park, NJ) led both teams with ten kills on 20 attempts. Rookie
Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) posted five service aces and 13 assists and three digs while rookie
Kimberly Runge (Closter, NJ) recorded seven kills and led the team with six digs. Jess LaValley led the Mariners with nine kills and five digs in the match.
Fairleigh Dickinson University defeated Baruch College 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21) on court two. Lauren Brazier led the Devils with nine kills while Kerry Kuperman recorded 30 assists, four kills and eight digs. Patty Manhart contributed with seven kills and ten digs while Katlyn Mullane added seven kills and 11 digs. For Baruch, Nicole Baruffaldi recorded nine kills with three service aces and eight digs while Kristin Walker posted three kills and 25 assists while adding three service aces.
Baruch College came back to defeat USMMA, 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-22) in their second match of the day. Baruffaldi led the Bearcats with eight kills and six digs while Walker recorded 25 assists and seven digs. For the Mariners, LaValley posted ten kills and six blocks while adding 11 digs. Jenna Palaschak tallied 20 assists while adding two kills, two aces and seven digs for the match.
The Roadrunners fell in their second match of the day to the Devils of Fairleigh Dickinson University, 2-3 (18-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 10-15). Anders led Ramapo with 14 kills in the match while Runge added 13. Fischer and rookie
Michelle Del Valle (Teaneck, NJ) combined for 50 assists in the match while rookie
Elizabeth Steck (Marlton, NJ) added 11 digs. The Devils combined for 53 kills on 136 attempts. Kuperman recorded 47 assists and nine digs while Lauren Brazier led both teams with 15 kills, hitting .536 in the match.
FDU went on to defeat USMMA, 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-18, 25-11) in their third match of the day. Brazier recorded eight kills in the match while Kuperman dished out 32 assists and 11 digs while adding two blocks. For the Mariners, LaValley recorded 21 kills and 21 digs in the match while Ana Fuschetto tallied 20 digs.
Ramapo defeated Baruch, 3-1 (25-20, 26-24, 19-25, 25-19) in their final match of the day. Anders led the Roadrunners once again with 11 kills while Runge added nine. Fischer dished out 15 assists while Del Valle added 23 in the match. The Roadrunners combined for 41 kills and a total of 55 digs.
The Bearcats combined for 44 kills, while Baruffaldi and Myra Estepan recorded 11 and ten kills respectively. Walker tallied 39 assists and 11 digs in the match.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday September, 29th when they host NJAC rival Stockton College at 7:00 PM.
