Mahwah, NJ: Ramapo College was shut out by the Ospreys of Richard Stockton College today, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference men's soccer match-up at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners fall to .500 at 5-5 overall, 1-2 in the NJAC, while Stockton improves to 6-3-1 overall, 2-1 in the conference.
Junior midfielder Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City, NJ) put two goals in the back of the net to go up 2-0 on Ramapo, before Sean McCallum (Vineland, NJ) added insurance on a breakaway goal to give the Ospreys the 3-0 win in Mahwah.
Tolomeo's first of the game came at 37:43 when senior midfielder Ray Nelson (Toms River, NJ) dribbled the ball up the left side and laid it back to the six yard line where Tolomeo waited and struck.
After heading into the intermission, 1-0 over the Roadrunners, Tolomeo struck again at the 60-minute mark with an unassisted goal, his sixth of the year, to take a two-goal advantage. The Ospreys final goal came with just under 14 minutes to play when a breakaway by McCallum gave the Ospreys a three-goal cushion.

Ian Tighe (Wyckoff, NJ) started the game and made four saves in 66:05. Junior Matt Hart (Dayton, NJ) played the full 90 minutes for Stockton making six saves for his fourth shut out of the season.
Stockton out shut Ramapo, 17-8 while the Ospreys drew three corners to Ramapo's zero.
The Roadrunners return to NJAC play on Wednesday, October 1st when they take on New Jersey City University at home at 4:00 PM. The Ospreys play Gwynned Mercy on Monday at 7:00 PM in a non-conference soccer match.
