22:48 into the game, rookie Scott Mishley (Bridgeport, CT) ripped a shot past the Ramapo goalkeeper off a corner, which came from fellow rookie Aaron Smiles (Bedford, CT) to take a 1-0 lead over Ramapo. The score stood through the first half of play.
In the second half, the Warrier netminder, Carl Appel (West Windsor, NJ), made two huge saves on two penalty kicks awarded to the Roadrunners. One PK came with only 1:25 to play.
Appel finished the game with five saves while
