Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's tennis team posted a 7-2 loss today to the Bearcats of Baruch College. Ramapo opens the year at 0-1 while Baruch opens at 1-0.

Allen Kats (Montville, NJ) 6-2, 6-4 at first singles and sophomore
Prasanna Fernando (Wood-Ridge, NJ) dropped a tough, 5-7, 2-6, decision at second singles.
Paul Baluyut (Paramus, NJ) fell short, 0-6, 1-6 in the third singles match-up while sophomore
Matt Cacciaguida (Hampton, NJ) and junior
Matt Soos (Barnegat, NJ) posted singles wins at fourth and fifth singles respectively.
Kats and Fernando fell just short, 8-4, at first doubles.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, September 18th when they host Cabrini College at 6:00 PM.
