Trenton, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swim team fell short to the Lions of The College of New Jersey tonight in Trenton, 69-103 to fall to 2-5 overall on the year.
The 200-yard medley relay team consisting of
Peter Polgar (Wayne, NJ),
David Nehls (Oakland, NJ), captain
Michael Medvecky (Piscataway, NJ), and captain
Nick Acciani (Cherry Hill, NJ), placed 2nd overall in 1:49.47 while Patrick Craig (Lacey, NJ) earned a 2nd place finish of his own in 12:34.79 in the 1,000-yard freestyle event.
Matt Hagaman (Pequannock, NJ) swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:19.08 for a 2nd place finish and
David Regal (Scotch Plains, NJ) and
Ben Farhi (Hackensack, NJ) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 100-yard backstroke. Regal touched the poolside in 1:07.02 and Farhi finished the race in 1:09.64.
Nehls placed 2nd in the 100-yard breaststroke and Medvecky placed 3rd in 1:03.98 and 1:07.17 respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, February 16th when they host Ocean County Community College and Pace at 2:00 PM. Ramapo's seniors will be honored prior to the start of the meet.
