Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's swimming team fell to Adelphi University today, 90-104. The Roadrunners drop to 1-4 overall while Adelphi improves to 3-2 overall.
Rookie
Terry Hubert (Howell, NJ) picked up two first place ribbons in the 50-yard freestyle he recorded a time of 23.4 while he out touched the Panthers in the 100-yard butterfly in 57.00. Rookie
Stephen Fox (Freehold Twp., NJ) also placed in two events; in the 200-meter individual medley he took first place in 2:08.9 while taking second place in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 55:89.
For the Panthers, rookie Daniel Sparnroft (Staten Island, NY) took home first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:08.68 and sophomore Tory Cozzi (East Hampton, CT) placed first in the 100-yard freestyle in 50.53.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Pace University on January 24th at 2:00 PM.
