Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team and Rowan University tied 1-1 after two overtimes in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday night.
All of the scoring came in the second half. The Profs' goal was scored by forward Mike Pascale (Toms River, NJ) at 57:15. Pascale knocked in a rebound after Ramapo goalie
Mike Kull (Millville, NJ) stopped a shot by midfielder Jason Choma (Belford, NJ). Midfielder
Christian Garcia (Wayne, NJ) had the tying goal for the Roadrunners. Garcia headed in a corner kick by midfielder
Benjamin Eggart (Paterson, NJ) at 76:42.
Ramapo ended the game with 19 shots and Kull made three saves. Rowan took 16 shots and goalkeeper Charlie Cunliffe (Lakewood, NJ) stopped six shots. The Profs are 3-7-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the conference. The Roadrunners have a 5-5-2 record with a 1-2-2 NJAC mark.
Ramapo travels to Drew University on Tuesday, October 7 for a 7 p.m. non-conference game. Rowan is home again on Monday, October 6 against the University of Scranton at 7 p.m.
