Union, N.J. (9/29/07)- The Roadrunners scored three different unassisted goals in the second half to defeat the Cougars, 3-0, in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action Saturday afternoon at Kean Alumni Stadium.
Sophomore Jay Castaldo (Jacobstown, N.J.) recorded the game-winner at 65:31 as Ramapo improved to 8-1-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play. The Roadrunners used a balanced attack late and tacked on insurance goals at 78:49 and 87:10 by junior

Ian Tighe (Wyckoff, N.J.) tallied four saves in the shutout while senior Kyle Crego (Ocean City, N.J.) had four saves as well in the loss for Kean (4-6, 2-3 NJAC).
Ramapo edged Kean, 13-12 in shots while the Cougars held a commanding 11-3 advantage in corners.
Kean will resume play on Monday, October 1st as they travel to Stevens Institute of Technology in a non-conference matchup slated for 8 p.m.
