Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo field hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision today to NJAC rival Rowan University at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners fall to 6-10 overall, 1-4 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while Rowan improves to 13-4 overall, 4-1 in the conference.

Junior forward Amanda Greene (Thorofare, NJ) gave the Profs a 2-0 edge just over five minutes (40:48) into the second half off a cross from Susan Massara (Hammonton, NJ) posting her 13th goal of the year. Rowan's Amanda Cucinotti (Voorhees, NJ) blocked two shots earning the 4-1 win in the NJAC match-up. Tierney played 45:49 blocking six shots, letting up three of Rowan's four goals.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, October 31st when they host William Paterson at 4:00 PM.
