8th RANKED RAMAPO CRUISES BY ROWAN, 3-0

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team cruised by the Profs of Rowan University, 3-0 today at the Athletic Center in Mahwah in a NJAC match-up. The #8 ranked Roadrunners improve to 11-1-2 overall, 5-0-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while Rowan falls to 6-8-3 overall, 2-5-1 in the conference.

The game remained scoreless until the 32nd minute when junior KEVIN BRADLEY (Rockaway, NJ) hit one (unassisted) past junior net minder Anthony Clemente (Kendall Park, NJ), 31:15, giving the Roadrunners a 1-0 lead. Halftime ended with a 1-0 score despite Rowan's eight shots over Ramapo's five. Rookie goalkeeper MIKE KULL (Millville, NJ) posted six big saves in the half for the Roadrunners heading into the last 45 minutes with a one-goal edge.

Leading goal scorer JIM SCILLIERI (Wayne, NJ) added an insurance goal at 86:03 off an assist from senior MATT CHESTER (Hamilton, NJ) before sophomore DAVID TAYLOR (Hackensack, NJ) posted one of his own with just over one minute left in the game for a 3-0 Ramapo victory. SCILLIERI recorded his 21st point of the year with the assist on TAYLOR'S goal.

KULL wrapped up the game earning his 5th shut out posting 12 total saves in the win. Clemente posted four saves with three goals against in the full 90 minutes. Rowan out shot Ramapo 21-14 in the NJAC match-up.

Ramapo will travel to New Jersey City on Monday, October 24th for a 3:00 PM start.
