Mahwah , NJ : Sophomore JOSH TAYLOR (Hackensack , NJ ) posted both of Ramapo's goals in a 2-0 victory over Rutgers Newark in NJAC action today in Mahwah. Ramapo improves to 8-0-1 overall, 2-0-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while the Scarlet Raiders fall to 2-6 overall, 0-3 in the conference.

The game remained scoreless until the 65th minute when TAYLOR connected with a direct kick from senior JEREMY TAYLOR (Hackensack , NJ ) giving the Roadrunners a 1-0 lead. TAYLOR hit the back of the net once again at 81:54 leading the team to their 8th victory of the year, 2nd in the NJAC.

Sophomore goalkeeper PATRICK JAGODZINSKI (Lebanon , NJ ) posted his 7th shut out of the year recording two saves in 90 minutes while Carmine Cambareri (Cliffside Park , NJ ) posted seven saves with two goals against in the loss.

The Roadrunners will host Kean University on Wednesday, September 29th at 4:00 PM .
