Mahwah , NJ : Senior midfielder NORMAN CROCHETIERE (Hamilton , NJ ) hit the back of the net at 100:29 of a non-conference match-up dropping the Warriors of Eastern Connecticut, 1-0 in Mahwah. CROCHETIERE led the Roadrunners to their 5th victory of the year improving men's soccer to 5-0 overall. Eastern Connecticut falls to 0-4-1 on the year.

The game remained scoreless until the 101st minute when CROCHETIERE connected with senior forward MATT CHESTER (Hamilton , NJ ) giving Ramapo the 1-0 double overtime victory. Sophomore goalkeeper JON CASTELLI (Wenonah , NJ ) earned the shut out with seven saves in the game. Jon Barney (Mansfield , CT ) recorded 12 saves in the loss for the Warriors.

The Roadrunners out shot Eastern Connecticut 25-10 in the victory.

Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, September 18th for their first NJAC match-up of the year. The Roadrunners will host Rutgers Newark at 1:00 PM .
