Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College field hockey team played host to the Greyhounds of Moravian College today at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners recorded a 2-1 victory improving to 7-7 overall, while the Greyhounds fall to 8-7.

The first 35 minutes of play remained scoreless and in the 50th minute, rookie LINDSAY HELLWIG (Budd Lake, NJ ) connected with a cross from DEVIN FLYNN (Mullicattill, NJ ) giving the Roadrunners a 1-0 edge. Moravian was awarded a penalty shot at 54:27 and Stacee Cupples (Allentown, PA ) hit the back of the cage ting the game at one goal apiece. Flynn then posted the game winner at 63:50, assisted by MEREDITH GRIBBEN (Penuannock, NJ ) earning the 2-1 victory.

The Roadrunners ripped 12 shots over Moravian's 11 and sophomore goalkeeper KATELYN FERGUSON (Sussex, NJ ) blocked nine shots in the win. Amanda Gaun (Hatboro, PA ) recorded three saves in the loss.

The Roadrunners will travel to Richard Stockton College on Saturday for a four o'clock start.
