Mahwah, NJ: The #4 seeded Ramapo College Roadrunners eliminated the #5 seeded Dolphins of the College of Staten Island today at the Athletic Center in the 1st round of the 2003 ECAC Metro Championship Tournament. Ramapo men's soccer improves to 13-3-3 overall while Staten Island wraps up their 2003 season with a 13-3-2 overall record.

After 68 minutes of scoreless soccer, Ramapo's senior captain KEVIN PACKEN (Bayville, NJ) hit the back of the net off a cross from junior midfielder FRANK MARRONE (Brick, NJ). The lone goal was netted at 68:08. Ramapo posted 45 shots in the game holding Staten Island to none. Sophomore goalkeeper Valon Osmani (Staten Island, NY) posted a career high saves in the match-up with 21 in 90 minutes.

Ramapo will advance to play the winner of #1 Richard Stockton and #8 New York University on Saturday, November 15th. (Time, TBA)
