Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team played host to William Paterson University today at the Athletic Center in NJAC competition. The Roadrunners posted their 5th win of the season as they downed the Pioneers, 2-0. Ramapo improves to 5-1-1 overall, 1-1 NJAC while William Paterson falls to 6-2 overall, 1-1 NJAC.

The teams played 75 minutes without a goal until junior STEPHEN STALGAITIS (Pequannock, NJ) netted one off a pass from sophomore MATT CHESTER (Hamilton, NJ). CHESTER added one more just seven minutes, 83:48, later to shutout the Pioneers two goals to none.

William Paterson out shot Ramapo 23-20 while Ramapo's senior goalkeeper ADAM HEIFITZ (Paramus, NJ) blocked 17 shots in 90 minutes. Mike Fedorczyk (Hillsborough, NJ) and Chris Auriano (Toms River, NJ) split the time for the Pioneers blocking a total six shots.

The Roadrunners will travel to Montclair on Friday, September 27th at 4:00 PM for NJAC competition.
