Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College Roadrunners dropped a 0-4 decision to the Rowan Profs today at Jeff Maund Field at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners fall to 11-12 overall, 3-5 in the NJAC while the Profs improve to 17-10 overall, 6-4 in the conference.
Rowan scored their first run in the fourth inning, when Leo Storch (Brielle, NJ) hit a RBI single. The Profs added to their lead in the fifth, scoring two runs off of a double hit by Tim Staszawski (Collingswood, NJ). The team added in one more run during the 8th, making it 0-4.
For Ramapo, CHRIS NISKOCH (Edison, NJ) and SHAUN BURSTEIN (Beachwood, NJ) each recorded a hit.
Tom McCullen (Ventnor, NJ) pitched a complete game, earning the win for Rowan striking out six, walking two, and only allowing two hits. Senior SHAUN BURSTEIN (Beachwood, NJ) recorded the loss (3-2) with six strikeouts and two walks in 7 2/3 innings.
The Roadrunners will face Caldwell College at Jeff Maund Field on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:30 PM.
