Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College Roadrunners men's soccer team fell short to the Red Hawks of Montclair State 0-1 today in the preliminary round of the ECAC Division III Metro Tournament at the Athletic Center. Ramapo ended their season 10-6-1 overall, while Montclair improves to 10-6-2. The Red Hawks will host the winner of the City College of NY and New York University on Saturday, November 16, 2002.

The game was deadlocked until the second half when Montclair midfielder Andrew Macho (North Arlington, NJ) connected on passes from Matt Caswell (Piscataway, NJ) and Atiba Yusuf (East Orange, NJ) at 55:42. The Roadrunner's were out shot 13 to eight.

Montclair goalie Chris Owen (Pompton Lakes, NJ) recorded the shutout with two saves, while Ramapo's ADAM HEIFITZ (PARAMUS, NJ) recorded four saves.
