Jane Koeniges enters her second year as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Ramapo College.  Koeniges has over 17 years of coaching experience, most recently serving at the helm of the Warriors' Women's Lacrosse program at Division II East Stroudsburg University for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. 
Last year (2013) with the Roadrunners, Keoniges led Ramapo to six wins overall, five in Skyline Conference play.  The team made an appearance in the Skyline Championship Tournament for the third time in the history of the young seven year program.  The team produced the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year in Lindsey Hughes of Milford, NJ.  She led the team with a record breaking 93 goals.
Prior to coming to Ramapo, Koeniges led the Warriors to a 10-9 record and an appearance in the PSAC semifinals in just her first season with the ESU program.  Her 18-6 win over Gannon in the conference's quarterfinals match-up, was the program's first post-season win since the 1986 season.  For her extrordinary leadership, she was named PSAC Coach of the Year in 2011.
Prior to heading the ESU women's lacrosse program, Koeniges served four seasons as the assistant coach to both the women's lacrosse and field hockey teams.  During her seasons with the field hockey program, the Warriors made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2010, while tying the school record for wins with 17 in 2010.  That same season the team played in the PSAC Championship game, falling just short to Bloomsburg, 1-2.
Before her time at ESU, Koeniges spent ten years as an assistant coach at Division I Lafayette College.
She is a 1995 graduate of Springfield College where she earned a degree in Physical Education, and has completed 18 credits towards a master of science, sports management degree from East Stroudsburg University.  She is a certified Strength and Conditioning specialist and holds a Level One Coaching License with the United States Field Hockey Association.
