Doug Aday enters his third season on the Roadrunner coaching staff. Aday will serves as the Hitting and Fielding Coach for the Roadrunner program.

In 2011 the Roadrunners finished posted a 30-14 overall record and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. It's the first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 1988.  Ramapo led the highly competitive New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) with a .316 team batting average and on base percentage of .411.  In addition, the Roadrunners went on to set a school record .962 team fielding percentage. Three team members earned NJAC All-Conference honors following the 2011 season, Kevin Knox, Christian Spurr, and Rob Dimperio.

Coach Aday was a four-year member of the Ramapo College Baseball team from 2001-2005. During his tenure at Ramapo, Aday served as captain of the program. During his senior year, he became the school’s All-Time career leader in doubles (62), RBI (150), and hits (222). He also finished his career ranked in the Top 10 in virtually every offensive category. Aday also holds the single season record for doubles (21) in a season. Coach Aday was a two-time All-NJAC performer, two-time NJCBA performer. He also was a two-time Rawlings Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American member, and two-time Team MVP during his time at Ramapo.

From 2005-2010 Coach Aday was coaching and teaching in the Kansas City, MO area. Coach Aday currently resides in Mahwah, NJ.
