Jackie Ventricelli added to her accolades for the week, as she was tabbed the DII/DIII Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the Met Basketball Writers' Association. Ventricelli --- who also was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference player of the week --- averaged 26.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals as the Roadrunners (8-1) split of pair of road games last week, defeating NJCU 78-70 on Wednesday and losing their first game of the season on Saturday 81-66 at Rowan.

For the week, Ventricelli shot 46.7% (14-of-30) from the field and nailed 86.4% (19-of-22) of her efforts at the free throw line. Ventricelli’s double-double at NJCU produced a career-high of 34 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor along with 11-of-12 free throw conversions. She also had 10 rebounds and a team-high six steals. At Rowan, Ventricelli scored a team high 19 points, including three 3-pointers, while she pulled down nine rebounds, and added four assists and two steals.
