Ramapo College of New Jersey Athletics

A three-time NJAC Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week selection, Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after being named the Outstanding Male Field Athlete at the 2008-09 NJAC Championships contested at the New York Armory. He placed first in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional mark of 5.05 meters. Van Leeuwen’s performance also established a new conference record in the event.
