Alston earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after averaging 25.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in a pair of key league victories for the Roadrunners. He opened the week with 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the foul line, while adding seven rebounds in Ramapo’s 83-80 NJAC road win at William Paterson. He wrapped up the week by tallying a career-high 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field and 6-of-6 shooting from the charity stripe, while adding six rebounds in a 75-73 NJAC win over Montclair State which secured the second seed in the North Division for the Roadrunners in the upcoming NJAC Tournament. Alston currently leads the NJAC in field goal percentage (.561).
