Nieves earns his first NJAC Player of the Week honor after leading Ramapo to a three-set sweep of SUNY Potsdam in the lone match of the week. He racked up 10 kills (3.33/set) on a .400 hitting percentage, accounting for 11.0 points. He added five digs and an assist and ace each. Nieves is currently third among all NJAC players in kills on the young season, averaging 2.78 per set.
