Cruz is named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the first time after a strong outing at the Ramapo Mini Meet. She won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.72 seconds, which is the fifth-fastest in Ramapo program history. That time currently ranks fourth in the NJAC and 12th in the Atlantic Region.
