Traore is named NJAC Rookie of the Week after a pair of strong performances at the IC4A Championships. He competed as the only Division III runner in both the 200 and 400 meters. He clocked 21.77 in the 200, finishing seventh out of 21 in the field of D1 athletes. He ran a 48.71 in the 400, finishing eighth out of 21. Traore currently owns the second-fastest 400 time in the region (20th nationally) and the third-fastest 200 time in the region (26th nationally).
