Schaffer earns the first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the spring 2021 men’s soccer season after collecting a win and a tie in goal for the Roadrunners. He made 10 stops in 200 minutes of action, including seven saves in a double-overtime 1-1 tie against Rutgers-Camden and three more in a 3-1 win over Stockton. For the week, Schaffer recorded a save percentage of .833.
