Almeda earns her fourth NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after a stellar week on the floor. She racked up 89 digs (8.09/set), including her 1,000th career dig in a match against Merchant Marine over the weekend. She posted a career single-match high of 43 digs in a tough loss to William Paterson. She added 24 more, including her 1,000th, against USMMA. Almeda wrapped up the regular season with 22 digs in a win over Lehman. She posted a passing percentage of .978 while also collecting seven assists, two aces, and one kill this past week. Almeda leads all NJAC players with 6.48 digs per set this season.
