Schaffer picks up his first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after anchoring the Ramapo defense in two critical conference wins that locked up a first-round bye in the upcoming tournament. He posted a shutout over Kean, turning away four shots. He added four more saves in a 2-1 win over Rowan, including a key stop in the 87th minute just before Ramapo was awarded the eventual game-winning penalty kick. Schaffer ranks second in the NJAC in conference-only save percentage (.796) and leads all NJAC keepers in overall save percentage (.790).
