Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after traveling to New York City to compete at the Great Dane Classic hosted by the University of Albany at the New York Armory. He placed third in a field of 17 competitors in the pole vault with a NCAA provisional mark of 4.95 meters. Van Leeuwen’s performance helped the Roadrunners secure a 19th place finish in the 29-team meet.
