Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the Gotham Cup Meet hosted by NYU at the New York City Armory. He placed second in a field of 19 competitors in the pole vault with a school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 5.10 meters. Van Leeuwen’s 5.10 meter vault was the best in the pole vault in all of NCAA Division III this season.
