Lewis becomes the second Roadrunner in as many weeks to earn NJAC Player of the Week after leading Ramapo to three more wins, as the squad has jumped out to a 4-0 start. Lewis, who earned Rick Martin-Holiday Inn Express Tournament MVP, averaged 22.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals. He scored a team-high 66 points including a career-best 35 points in Ramapo’s 82-66 win over Gordon College on Friday night. He posted a double-double 15 points and 13 rebounds as Ramapo defeated Yeshiva 72-69. Ramapo needed their second last-second shot in three games to defeat host Westfield State on Saturday afternoon 61-59 as Lewis posted 12 points and eight rebounds. Lewis currently leads the NJAC in rebounding (11.8 rpg) and is tied for fourth in scoring (18.5 ppg).
