Ramapo College of New Jersey Athletics

Schaffer picks up his first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after anchoring the Ramapo defense in two key NJAC victories, and went 2-0-1 on the week. He made five stops in a 3-3 nonconference draw with Western Connecticut State, and then nine saves across two NJAC wins. He stopped two shots in a 2-1 overtime win over Kean, and then stopped seven in a big 2-1 road win at Rowan as the Roadrunners more than secured a spot in the upcoming NJAC tournament. Schaffer currently sports a 0.97 goals against average in conference play to rank fifth among league keepers, and is third in the NJAC with a .818 conference-only save percentage.
