Hernandez picks up his fourth NJAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor after a record-setting performance at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University. He clocked the fifth-best mile time in NCAA Division III history and set a new Ramapo school record with a 4:01.83 time. He won his heat against NCAA Division I competition and finished tenth overall against NCAA Division I, II, III and unattached runners. His 4:01.83 is not only the fifth-best time in Division III history, but leads all D3 runners from across the nation this season. Hernandez owns three top-15 national marks this season; in addition to his national-best mile, he ranks eighth in NCAA Division III in the 3,000 meters and 15th in the 800 meters. Hernandez also earned ECAC Track Athlete of the Week.
