DeAngelis becomes the third Roadrunner to earn NJAC Player of the Week honors this season after leading Ramapo to the NJAC championship game for the second straight year. The NJAC Co-Player of the Year went 11-for-19 (.579) in five tournament games, driving in three runs and scoring five times throughout the week. He hit safely in all five tourney games, with three three-hit games. He went 3-for-4 in a win over William Paterson, and 3-for-5 with two RBIs in a win over Rutgers-Newark. He added a hit in Ramapo’s 4-3 10-inning game to advance to the championship final. In the final, he helped stake the Roadrunners to a 5-0 lead behind 3-for-4 hitting with a double, RBI, and two runs scored. He struck out just once in 19 at-bats and drew four walks. DeAngelis leads all NJAC hitters with a .424 average this season; he also leads in hits (70) and on-base percent (.492).
