Doherty earns his first NJAC Pitcher of the Week honor on the heels of throwing a one-hit shutout over Rutgers-Newark on Saturday night. The senior came within one out of a no-hitter, surrendering just one hit with one out remaining in the ninth. He struck out eight in the contest. Doherty currently ranks second in the NJAC in conference-only opposing batting average (.145) and seventh in conference-only ERA (1.99).
