Martinez earns his first NJAC Player of the Week honor of the season after leading the Roadrunners offensively in three games. He went 7-for-10 with four RBIs and five runs scored, along with a home run and double. He recorded a 1.100 slugging percentage and .727 on-base percentage for the week. Martinez opened the weekend with a 2-for-4 outing with a home run, RBI and two runs scored in a loss to Drew. He collected five hits in six at-bats across both ends of a doubleheader against New Paltz with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored in the twin bill. Martinez is currently fifth among all NJAC players with a .439 batting average through 12 games, and leads the league with three home runs.
