Hernandez earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season after traveling to Galloway to compete at the NJAC Championships. He claimed the league title in the 800 meters by placing first in a field of 26 with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:52.37. He also garnered the conference crown in the 1,500 meters by placing first in a field of 21 competitors with an ECAC qualifying time of 3:56.07. The winning performance by Hernandez in the 800 meters currently ranks as the 29th best time in the event in NCAA Division III this season.
