Brignoni becomes the third Roadrunner this season to earn NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors after recording two wins on the mound last week. He started on the road at St. Joseph’s Long Island, hurling six innings with three strikeouts and no walks in the 5-3 win. He followed up by pitching the middle 3.2 innings and earned the key NJAC win over TCNJ. He allowed just one hit while striking out three Lions. Brignoni currently sports a 2.86 ERA in four appearances in his rookie season.
