Venturino picks up his first NJAC Player of the Week honor after leading Ramapo in a 4-2 week, including a key doubleheader sweep over TCNJ. He set the new Ramapo career hit record with his 225th career hit in a nonconference win over Staten Island. He also hit safely in all six games, going .583 (14-for-24) with 11 RBIs, eight runs scored and six doubles for the week. He keyed the Roadrunners with a 5-for-8 performance against TCNJ with five RBIs, five runs scored and two doubles. He went 4-for-8 in two setbacks to Kean, and 5-for-8 in two nonconference games against CSI and St. Joseph’s Long Island. The second baseman also committed just one error in 46 chances while recording 16 putouts and 29 assists.
