Hernandez earns NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth consecutive week after traveling to Staten Island to compete at the NJAC Indoor Championships hosted at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex. He claimed the NJAC crown in the 800 meters by placing first in a field of 20 competitors with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:54.80. He also claimed the NJAC title in the mile by defeating a field of 12  competitors with an ECAC qualifying and conference-record time of 4:12.11. Hernandez, who helped the Roadrunners place fourth in the nine-team NJAC championship, holds the eighth best NCAA Division III national time in the mile (4:12.11) and the 13th best national time in the 800 meters (1:53.69).
