Appezzato earns NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and the third consecutive week after competing on her home campus in the NJAC Outdoor Championships. She claimed the NJAC title in the javelin by placing first in a field of 12 competitors with an ECAC qualifying throw of 47.00 meters. She currently holds the third best javelin throw in NCAA Division III this season (47.90 meters). The performance by Appezzato helped propel the Roadrunners to a fourth place finish in the nine-team NJAC Outdoor Championship meet.
