Brizek becomes the third different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors after pitching Ramapo to a victory over top-seeded Rowan in the NJAC Tournament Championship Game which garnered the program its first league title in school history. In the first postseason game of her collegiate career, she recorded a scoreless two-thirds of an inning during a 3-1 victory over William Paterson. Two days later in the NJAC Title Game, she allowed just one earned run and no walks while striking out three in a complete-game 8-2 win over Rowan. As the NJAC automatic qualifier, Ramapo will open NCAA Tournament play by facing Randolph Macon at Christopher Newport on May 8. Brizek currently ranks 12th in the NJAC in opposing batting average (.254).
