Dowell becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite hosted by Johns Hopkins. He won the triple jump event in a field of 12 competitors, registering and ECAC qualifying distance of 14.13 meters. The performance by Dowell in the triple jump currently ranks as the second-best NJAC leap in the event this season and 14th nationally in Division III. He was also awarded ECAC Division III Metro Athlete of the Week.
