Werr earns the first NJAC Player of the Week selection after hitting .667 (6-for-9) with two doubles, five RBI and two runs scored in the Roadrunners’ road sweep at the Bobcats Invitational in Fayetteville, NC. He opened his senior season by going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and four RBI in the Roadrunners’ season-opening 10-0 victory over Pitt-Greensburg. One day later, he went a combined 2-for-4 with a one RBI in Ramapo’s 4-2 victory over St. Joseph’s-Maine. Werr currently leads the NJAC in batting average (0.667) and hits this season (6). Werr was also named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
